Kile Coffee Table

Kile is the Norwegian word for wedge, a joining technique Stine Aas has used to great effect in this simple wood coffee table. The table’s four plank-like legs appear to intersect the circular tabletop at different angles, a feature expressed where you see the two grains meet.
